_{Another November 11th come and past. It was fun, I spent it watching two episodes of Ryuusei no Gemini which is so intense and badass I completely recommend it. But I recommend watching the first series beforehand. Hei looks so weird D: His long hair, stubble, blahhh. I hope his looks change in the rest of the series. Other than that, I love the series so far.

Also, happy Veterans Day and thank you to those who have served <3

Anyways, was going to wait to post a journal since this seemed like a good moment to change it. Umm, received ~HikariSukuru's wig FINALLY. It's pretty and I want to steal it, but alas there are no cosplays I could use it for. Oh well. Am finally getting enough money for my Ciel wig. I've been complaining enough about it, it's about time I got it. Oh and I also finally got my Kuroshitsuji dvd~ It's so purty, I love it so.

Umm, had a mental breakdown yesterday. Was not one of the best days, at all, and to start it off my laptop decided to not work. So I went to school, had a not so good day (felt like crying most of the day) except when I got to Photo which is always fun (which reminds me, need to make Owl City cd...). But I got home, to learn that my dad might have had to restore my laptop, and it has notes and things. Pictures, notes, etc. Notes for a paper I should be working on. Thankfully, I sat down with my laptop, and it turned on and decided to work. So that was good. Today was a good day, I guess. I have no idea what I'm doing for my paper, so I'm screwed. But Glee is on tonight! And I'm very happy for that!

Oh and for those who don't know, Yule is out. My parents are going out of town, so-to-speak, and I have no idea who I'm staying with or what I'm doing that weekend. If I'm lucky, I may be able to go for a few hours on a day to see friends, but no cosplay or money-spending. The time to save up for Ciel is here. *has been on quite a Kuroshitsuji kick*

Speaking of kicks, I also recently started Nabari no Ou, and I have to say I'm in love. It's an awesome series, and I can't wait for Part Two to come out! I love Miharu and Yoite, just saying. My OTP >_> And when Ciel is done, I might see about doing a Miharu cosplay in the future. It would be quite easy lol. Yet another ninja cosplay *shot* But yes, it's really good~

Anyways, also speaking of cosplay...I'm selling my Kagura dress~ It doesn't really fit as well as I thought it did, so I'm gonna sell it. What's the point of having it if I can't wear it much D: I was also almost thinking of selling Black Star, but then a certain someone would have a major bitchfit (not that I would blame her XD) so I'm not sure. If A-kon comes, and I don't wear it then...then I'll probably see what to do D: I love it a lot, but it's growing small.}

An Army officer opened fire Thursday with two handguns at the Fort Hood military base in an attack that left 12 people dead and 31 wounded. Authorities killed the gunman and apprehended two other soldiers in what appears to be the worst mass shooting at a U.S. military base.

Happy (belated) Halloween!

_{Sorry I didn't update yesterday! Uwaaa it was so much fun! The night before was our football game, we lost miserably, but it was a lot of fun. Met some people I've wanted to meet for a while, had shenanigans, ate frito pie (and got sick) >_< but all in all it was great!
In the morning, Noelle, Alex, and I went to the zoo in cosplay and that was epic! There was no one there! I was Ginny Weasley, Noelle was Tonks, and Alex was Hermione~ We saw rhinos, lions, penguins, we fed birds, saw horses, had an epic gun fight, ate fudge, had chicken wings and pizza, rode a train, it was awesome :3 After that, I waited XD I talked to my neighbor about anime/manga and stuff, and then waited for my friends to arrive. Yunjae, Alex, and Noelle got here so we put on our costumes and ate pizza while watching Sailor Moon! I was Misa from the movie with my Death Note and my L plushie. Yunjae and Noelle wore lolita, and Alex was a Vongola Mafia boss XD She carried my bat and looked like a female Reborn~ After that, we headed to a small neighborhood and trick-or-treated for a little (not much candy oTL) and then hung out with my friends who were doing a fun haunted house sort of thing at their house. It was awesome. We raved, played the Pokemon theme song (which we all had belted walking down the street earlier) and that was cool.
After that we headed to my house and waited for my awesome awesome cosplay friends, and we walked around more and trick-or-treated a little around there but then it got too late so we ended up just walking around like creepers. At one point, we hit the abandoned house and it was funny but scary. A few of them went into the backyard to see the pool, and then three of them came back out after telling them we had to go. Tara's boyfriend was still back there, and I was like "He's gonna come from the other side of the house, I'll freak out, and hit him with the bat a couple of times." so all of a sudden he runs out from the side of the house, I screamed, and grabbed the bat XDD I didn't hit him though. But it scared me D: We got some coolio pictures which I'll put up soon, and then Alex, Yunjae, Noelle and I went home to watch Nightmare before Christmas and Spirited Away. All in all, best halloween ever. :3
Now I'm going to get ready for my moms purse party, read some more Huck Finn and

HOLY SHIT AT THE NEW D.GRAY-MAN CHAPTER ALREADY BEING OUT. Although, I was slightly disappointed ;-; Is Kanda ever going to get the majority of the spotlight? I know this has to do with him, but he's never had a lot of coverage over his back story besides the few pages he's been given now. ):

_{First off, I found out that LA has a cosplay cafe D: Royal/T and it looks so amazing. I wish Dallas had one. I'd travel an hour for a cosplay cafe, yes. I already travel an hour for a convention, so why not a cafe? :l Anyways, onto the real journal.

Also, happy birthday to ~dearttolife and hoping her day is going really well. Hopefully her test wasn't as bad as she thought T-T wished you lots of luck!

Umm, saturday was cosplay bowling and man was that a LOT of fun ~Ellexon, ~kaji--hana, ~hayatefaith, ~HikariSukuru, ~OKATAN, *YoshidaEri, and a bunch of others showed up! I'm sorry if I don't have your devart username! I'm having short term memory loss and know there's at least one person I'm forgetting xD A few others were there too, people that don't have devarts but should have them, but it was so much fun! It was pretty much the mafia vs. country day vs. soul society in terms of teams XD Garrett, Emily, Noelle, Tara, and I were on one team (though Tara doesn't go to country day lolol but oh well) and we were so pwnful! XD no actually we weren't. First, I helped emily tie her obi on her kimono, but apparently I fail at that so that was done quickly lolol and then we started bowling, and it was so much fun >w< We kind of failed, just saying. I scored two strikes and three spares, and that was the highlight of my turns. Garrett was by far the best on our team XD Tara was the worst >_< Oh, and I was cosplaying as Kagura xD With horrible bowling shoes and socks >_<

But yeah, it was a lot of fun! DDR, a fun japanese shooting arcade game, and some other stuff! I showed off my pitching skills, and was sadly shot down ;-; but don't worry,}_{_{I put poison in some of the brownies}} _{so everything will be alright :3

Today we didn't have school, and last night Yunjae called and was like "Hey community service opportunity!" so she and I drove to the park by the YMCA (aka the park that our piriri to yukou pv was shot lolol) thanks to her parents, and they were speaking korean the entire way there so I felt so out of place XD but we got there, and it was a lot of fun. We were both covered in paint XD After that, we went to Yogolait for another amazing experience! Yunjae finally went, and we had fun. Instead of my usual chocolate with reeses and mochi, I got chocolate and tahitian vanilla, as well as mochi and strawberries :3 it was geeewd. But after that, my mom and sister were at Lawrences so Yunjae and I walked to Chick Fil A, got food to eat, and then my sister said they were going to Yogolait so we walked back to there XD The guy was like "You're back?!" and I was like "Yess! And I was here yesterday! You remember?" and he was like "Yeah, your the lollipop girl from forever ago!" and it was epic. He remembered me from forever ago XD I feel so special >w< Idk why. But now mom thinks I should have a Yogolait-break, so no Yogolait for a while T_T I'll cry if it like..closes or something. It's such a great place.

Umm, Halloween is almost here and that will be a blast. Friday is Battle, and that will be badass. TVS is so going down, this is OUR YEAR so yeah. On Saturday, there is a LOOTTT planned. First, ~lillypie528 and I are going to the zoo because she really wants to go, and I haven't been in a while so it'll be fun. This will be in casual cosplay, so for me it's between Kaoru or Nami :3 probably Nami or just wearing a random wig. After that we're going to our separate ways, and then she, Noelle, and Yunjae are going to come to my place for a party to watch random anime and whatnot, and then head out to Marshall's for trick-or-treating start by ourselves! It's the first time I've trick-or-treated by myself xD I mean, without my parents OTL so that'll be awesome. After that, it's more anime at my house x3 Mostly Ghost Hunt, because that'll scare the crap out of us >D

ummmmm yeah. That's about it for now!

oh and it's pouring rain outside right now D: it's flooding our front yard badly, our pool has already overflowed a lot as of late Dx crazy texas weather, it was so weird today when we were painting. but right now, when it rains, there's a sound like fireworks and I don't know what that is D: scary T_T

_{Last nights football game was AMAZING. We won 35-17, and the team we played beat the team we're playing next week. The team we're playing next week we haven't won against in about eight years, so the outcome is looking extremely positive for us. And I practically lost my voice xD I went to bed with no voice, woke up with a partial voice, and now have my voice back.

Today is cosplay bowling! Which will be so much fun, I'm really excited! ~Ellexon is coming over before and after to spend the night, so I'm really glad! And I'll see people I haven't seen since afest or even before! I'm really glad this was able to be put together. I have to be honest, I'm a little nervous xD The first cosplay bowling I went to, I didn't cosplay. I just dressed up and went. But this time I'm wearing my Kagura outfit complete with a wig, and I'm just nervous >_< I don't know why, I'll be around people who will be doing the same, but some of them are in casual clothes so I'm just really worried xD I was going to be Black Star, but the wig is being fussy and I don't want it to get ruined D: So I'm going to fix it.

Anyways, about the title. I may not seem depressed, and that's because I'm technically not. I have a great aunt who's lived in el paso for a while, and she's been sick in the hospital forever now, she's my dad's aunt. While I was making brownies, my mom came home from work to tell us that she passed away this morning. I'm not very very sad, because I wasn't very close with her at all. I barely saw her, and didn't really know her much (you have to understand, I have a BIG family. i'm jewish, so i'm related to just about everyone). It's just depressing to know a family member has died, no matter how close you are with them or not. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say it kind of dampens the light on the day.

The funeral is scheduled to be tomorrow or monday, probably monday because they have to bring her up to Fort Worth so she can be buried next to her husband in the synagogue's official cemetery.

Anyways, back to happy. I'm drinking this big glass bottle of Evian my parents got at Big Lots for $1 (they got like ten of them) and it's really badass! It's Christian Lacroix (apparently he's some big designer...) so the bottle looks really cool! *runs to get a picture*

Also, ~kaji--hana got me started on a new manga! It's a series I've semi-watched before, I'm sure you know it, it's called MAR. I used to watch it a lot when it was on, but now I'm reading it and I officially love it a lot! Alviss and Ian are my favorite characters, and kinda Loco now XD Halloween scares me >_> I'm only on book 7, but it's so good!

If you didn't know (I don't know if I mentioned it before) I won free anime from Funimation! They did a contest over Twitter and I was one of the first winners, so I got Season 1 Part 1 of Sgt. Frog. I finally watched an episode the other night, and...well...it's just wow. I don't know how I truly feel about it. Let's just say, I really don't like it. And I like random anime like Excel Saga and Shin Chan and all that, but I just didn't like Sgt. Frog.
